LATIMER, Mary C. age 78, of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. Mary retired from nursing in 1973. She was a very active member of Faith Presbyterian Church and involved in the church as an elder, Sunday school teacher, choir member, and a member of Presbyterian Women. She also volunteered as an intake coordinator for F.I.S.H.

in Huber Heights. Mary Latimer was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. William T. Latimer, Sr.

SCHMIDT, Marvin F. Of Beavercreek, OH passed away at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH on Monday, December 1, 2008- just 8 days shy of his 76th birthday.

Marvin was born and raised in Florence, KY. Immediately after graduating from high school, he served four years in the Air Force, during which time he married and celebrated the birth of a son. After leaving the Air Force, Marvin lived and worked in Covington, KY where a daughter was added to the family. It was at that time that he decided to go back to school to earn his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. In 1961, immediately after graduating from college, he moved to Xenia, OH with his wife and children and began his 35 year career as an aerospace engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

During his career he obtained a Masters degree from U.D. in Mechanical Engineering. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Helen (Perry) Schmidt; his brothers, Thomas and Raymond Schmidt; and his sister, Shirley Ewing. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy (Lubbe) Schmidt; his children, Donald Schmidt (wife Lisa) and Michele Puterbaugh (husband Steve); his grandchildren, Leigh Ann Viloria (husband Antony), Laura Saddison, Stevie Runyon (husband Brian), Sam Schmidt (wife Robin), Rebekah Puterbaugh, Katie Graham (husband Daniel), Abbey Puterbaugh, and David Schmidt; as well as his great grandchildren, Julia, Jordan, Tre, Zoe, JJ, Noah, Seth, Baby Alexandra, and Mary Katherine. SHANK, G. Howard age 67, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vera Shank; and sister, Carolyn Hughes. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Diana "Sweet much loved children, Lisa and husband Chris Sackett, Rich and wife Kim Shank, Beth and husband Tim Suttles, Joel and wife Carla Shank, Chris and wife Jenny Shank, Jeremy "Scooter" Shank; 12 beautiful grandchildren; sister, Pat Piper; other cherished family members, and a multitude of friends. His various talents included stained glass art, wood working, and was a computer wiz. There was nothing he couldn't fix, and was always available to anyone who needed help. He was fun loving and enjoyed teasing those he loved. An active member of Gracepoint Community Church, he was a born again Christian, and is now in the presence of his loving Savior. She also was employed by the United States bankruptcy Court and the YWCA. Camille and her husband Ollie loved going to the Friendly Boys dances for many years, they both were very good dancers. She enjoyed crocheting and making blankets and sweaters for her loved ones. She also traveled across country with her husband which gave them great pleasure. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy! Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

6 Brethren Retirement Com- munity, Greenville. (Bayliff Son Funeral Home, Cridersville) WOGOMAN, Lawrence Arthur Age 83, of Eaton, died at Miami Valley Hospital on November 30, 2008. He was born on April 25. 1925, in Casstown, Ohio, the son of the late Harvey D. and Bertha E.

(Koeller) Wogoman. On September 20, 1944, In Colorado Springs, Colorado, he married Norma Mae Fisher. Lawrence served in the US Army during WWII. He was a Professional Technician and Safety Coordinator for 29 years with the University of Dayton. Lawrence is survived by his wife of over 64 years, Norma Mae Wogoman; daughter, Cathy (Robert) Gunther of West Alexandria, Ohio; three grandchildren Scott Gunther, Craig (Carolyn) Gunther and Dawn (William) Webb; great grandchildren Owen Gunther, Ellie Webb and Emily Gunther; brothers Donald (Mary) Wogoman of New Jersey and Harold (Pat) Wogoman of Greenville, Ohio; sister, Ethel Rice of Florida; nieces and nephews.

Lawrence's brother, Warren Wogoman, and his sister, Mabel Penick also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South 'D' Street. Hamilton at Friday, December 5. 2008, with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Friday from at the funeral home.
