Powell has a lot of nice young talent in the pipeline!
White is another young guard in the Powell arsenal that is the potential to be a high level 2 way player. Offensively, she’s deadly from range, and has a reputation for being a lights out shooter once her feet are set.

Wiles put together a tremendous season for a Powell in her freshman year, and looks to build off a nice spring with ETA Thunder ICE. She has proven to be one of the best shooters in her class, but is also terrific rebounder. Great pursuit of the ball; not afraid to scrap. Plays both ways. Had some monster games (25 pts +) at the HS level, and multiple double doubles. She’s going to be a real player next season.

Campbell was thrown into the fire for Powell in her freshman year, and came out stronger. She’s been terrific this spring. Already a knock down shooter, she’s also getting more comfortable attacking the rim. She’s another Powell guard that takes pride in playing D. She’s Another great ’27 piece in the Powell cupboard.

Richmond-Watson came into high school with the reputation of being a highly skilled post who can score both with her back to the basket, or facing the rim. While she’s still learning how to consistently be the high level scorer I eventually believe she’ll become, her ability to rebound and use her length to defend the rim is already at a varsity level.
She plays with a physical edge defensively that give her a chance to be really good on that end. Her offense will take care of itself.
She gives Powell the chance to have a really nice inside/out offensive attack.

Gentry is another 2027 that worked her way into the Powell rotation as a freshman. She’s a diverse player that has learned how to use her length and body control to play either inside or out. She’s comfortable playing in multiple spots, and has a smooth jumper. High upside kid.

Hannah Hayes has the chance to come in and be a rotation guard for Powell as a freshman next season. She’s an extremely high level passer and ball handler with elite vision. She’s got a lethal floater game and can shoot the 3. I look for her to make an impact.

Every team needs a player like Fenner. She’s extremely quick, and uber combetitive. She’s a high level on ball defender, and she’s the type of player that can eventually lead a really effective defense. She’s the type of player that contributes to winning in ways that won’t always show up in a box score.
Another Powell ’27 that has a chance to be a real difference maker.
